NOTHING
NOTHING
I created a 3D motion design project inspired by the Nothing brand, focusing on its distinctive transparent and futuristic design language. The project involved designing and animating a conceptual 3D Deck, with particular attention to lighting, materials, and dynamic camera movements to enhance the product’s visual impact.

Overview
Overview
Designing a 3D motion concept inspired by the Nothing brand, focused on translating its minimalist and transparent design language into a dynamic product animation. This personal project allowed me to explore the full creative process, from concept development and 3D modeling to animation and final rendering, ensuring a cohesive and visually engaging result.

Challenge
Challenge
The challenge was to understand and translate the distinctive visual universe of the Nothing brand into a coherent 3D motion concept. The objective was not only to analyze what makes its design language unique, but also to reinterpret it through animation choices, camera framing, and compositing. The aim was to create a visual experience that faithfully reflects the brand’s minimalist, transparent, and futuristic identity while enhancing it through motion and cinematic direction.

Approach
Approach
My approach began with extensive research on existing Stream Deck designs in order to conceptualize a unique 3D reinterpretation. I then analyzed the advertising campaigns of the Nothing to identify its key visual codes, particularly its use of transparency, minimalism, and negative space.
For the motion direction, I drew inspiration from high-end 3D motion design, especially the product visuals of Apple, focusing on cinematic framing, shallow depth of field, and smooth camera movements. Finally, the color grading and visual effects were designed to reinforce a futuristic and technological atmosphere, aligned with Nothing’s identity.
